To be honest, 2016 is getting a lot of bad press.  Sure, we lost more than our fair share of celebrities.  There was an election……enough said.  And 2016 didn’t treat all of my friends and family in the nicest of ways.

But I had a pretty darn good 2016.

Thanks to Instagram (@samanthalaurenn) I was able to see my top 9 photos liked on my account this year.  And I love them for so many reasons.

1. My husband, my husband, my husband.  So nice, I said it thrice.  We got married. So, yeah, that makes 2016 a solid 10/10 would do again.
2. My beautiful girlfriends.  These bridesmaid babes did SO much for me this year – from hosting get togethers, to endless amount of phone calls and GIFs, to always always having my back – they were a major key to the year (and the 70-ish years of friendship between them all).
3. My sweet Jesse, right in the middle.  At the center of it all, Jesse’s death still confuses me, humbles me, and pushes me to be a better, kinder, more empathetic and caring person each and every day. Even four years later.
4. Coffee

This was far and away the best year I’ve experienced in an extremely long time – but I am looking forward to (fingers crossed!) new, bigger and better adventures in 2017!
