happy birthday, bluebird & bear!

welcome to our little corner of the internet.  a corner that I’ve been thinking about for a while (err over a year!) but was finally pushed into creating after reading my very first blog when it appeared on my timehop yesterday.  for your sanity, and mine, I won’t link you to that blog, but trust me…I’ve learned a bunch!

In 2015 when this blog became an idea, my then boyfriend and I had just purchased our first home – an 1882 charmer with room for small/manageable DIY projects and big dreams.  Since then we got engaged, got married, and learned a ton along the way.

At risk of irritating everyone I’ve ever met on Facebook, this blog will be a place for us to relive the projects we’ve done (and not just the successful ones…I’m looking at you failed 3D 4 foot letters for our wedding..), the trips we’ve taken and plan to take, and a place to dump all the ideas/thoughts/plans that run through my head on a regular basis.
